How to get to Tottenham Hotspur (North London)
By Air
Heathrow Airport – Located approximately 22 km from White Heart Lane. Trains and buses run frequently from the center of London to Heathrow.
Gatwick Airport – Located approximately 42 km from White Heart Lane.
Standsted Airport – Situated 60 km from White Heart Lane. Standsted is where you will arrive if you fly on one of Europe’s discount airlines like Ryanair and easyJet.
Luton Airport – Luton is located 52 km from White Heart Lane. It is another arrival and jumping off point for low-cost flights to Europe and throughout the UK.
By Train The international service will terminate at Waterloo station at central London. From there, it is an easy tube (subway) ride to White Hart Lane - Seven Sisters Station on the Victoria line (20 minutes walk or change to bus line 149, 259 or 279) & Tottenham Hale Station on the Victoria Line (20 minutes walk). You can also go by local train. White Hart Lane overground station is the closest to the ground, just 10 minutes walk and Northumberland Park station is served by the stopping train from Liverpool Street to Bishop's Stortford and Stansted Airport, and is a ten minute walk from Spurs' stadium. Directions to White Halt Lane
Public transport White Hart Lane Station (5 minutes walk) & Northumberland Park Station (10 minutes walk). You can also get there by Tube (subway) – Seven Sisters Station on the Victoria line (20 minutes walk or change to bus line 149, 259 or 279) & Tottenham Hale Station on the Victoria Line (20 minutes walk).
Regular bus services (Nos 149, 259, 349, 279) operate between station and stadium, but it is often quicker walking.
By Car The ground is well placed for the North Circular road, but congestion is inevitable after matches. The stadium is located on the A1010 (Tottenham High Road) and is one mile south of the A406 (North Circular). Apparently parking is a real problem, especially with new rules and "car free zones" during match days.
You can easily join the A406 from the M25 (junction 25) and the A10. The M25 is 15-20 minutes from the stadium. From the City follow the A10 to Bruce Grove then straight on to the A1010. Parking is tricky; either pay at one of the off-street options run by local “entrepreneurs” or take your chances on the residential streets off Bruce Grove.
Eating and drinking
As far as pubs go, home fans might enjoy the Antwerp Arms on Bruce Castle Park, or the Corner Pin adjacent to the ground, both of which require tickets to be shown at the door; away fans can chance The Ship near Bruce Grove station. This is London - the further you are from the ground the less likely you are to find football fans filling the pub, and the locals can generally be relied on to be indifferent.
Currently one of best watering holes for home fans is the Bill Nicholson - lots of Spurs memorabilia, BBQ in the garden (in all weather), 2 minutes walk from the ground, and girls dancing on the bar!
